Code of Ethics
In the capacity of the only one Web representative organization in Bulgaria, we wrote out this Code of Ethics, because it is our obligation to give assistance and to encourage the acceptance and observation of ethical standards and practices in Web business. The Code of Ethics includes the basic principles of correctness, loyalty, fair competition and professionalism. The Code is provided for self-discipline and elaboration and we are confident that its observation will improve Web practices in Bulgaria and EU for the sake of business and users. We, the members of BWA aim at:
- To manage our business working honestly and responsibly in order to deserve acknowledgement of high professional standards and loyal rivalry and to validate Web business in Bulgaria as a synonym of high quality.
- To improve constantly our personal competence, to accumulate erudition, knowledge and professional abilities through quality tuition and education. To develop and increase the professional level of Web business and to share experience.
- To build confidence in society towards our work through self control, assurance and constructive collaboration between us.
- To show ethics and competence in our work, to use only legal software, certificated programs and legal content.
- To defend intellectual property, to rely on our own professional qualities and to guarantee immunity of ideas, personal users’ data and new technologies innovations of our colleagues.
- To be responsible to society, the body politics and global community with our work.
- To obey legislation of Republic of Bulgaria.
- To inform and assist governmental institutions in their work on extension of popularity and access to information technologies.
- To work accordingly to Professional Standards, Statute and Regulations of Bulgarian Web Association.
- To stay true to the ideas of the Code of Ethics.
